Hi,
I've installed ubuntu 10.10 on a dual disk raid 1 setup and I have been testing whether the system boots with one of the disks disabled (sata cable disconnected). When I disable either of the drives, the system boots normally, so seems the setup is OK.
However, I don't get any error messages when the system boots, so I have no way of knowing whether the system is running degraded or not.
Any hints on what may be wrong in the installation, where to look for more information?
