Launchpad Defaults

Hey guys;

I was playing around and by mistake i deleted the Chat and Mail panels which are default on the launchpad or whatever the top bar is called (where by default the date and power options/buttons appear). I want to bring it back, please help!

That is called notification area, system tray or whatever you like. But launchpad is something else :-)

Right click your top panel > Add to panel > Notification Area > Add.

Right-click on the top panel and select Add to Panel from the menu. That will open a list of items that you can place on the panel. I believe the item you want to restore is the Indicator Applet Session.

No to both of you guys. Sorry. But i want that applet which allows me to sign in on my IM Chats+Mail+Social thing.

indicator applet session is for power buttons and all that.

I have just checked on my system. There are 2 options. One for "Indicator Applet" the other for "Indicator Applet Session".

The first one brings the volume icon, gwibber etc. The second one brings power button and social network integration applet.
