I just wanted to thank the forum for all their sharing of information. I am now the proud booter of XP3, Ubuntu 10.04 and test driving Fedora14 on my Dell D620. It is obvious to me that without the community here that would not have been possible. Gparted is great and the threads that expalin it's uses are as well. Lucid Lynx boots from my grub2 in approxiamtely 20 seconds and I can even monitor the temperatures on my CPU cores. Fedora14 was another matter but after figuring out the Live USB configuration problem and ensuring the boot for F14 was in it's own first partition all went well. Thanks all of you..:popcorn:
