I'm in the mood to start a blog and put as many multiple personalities behind it as can possilbly fit. (Multiple authors) Maybe throw in a news letter and a bunch of other things, but make it very interesting at the same time.

Depends on the overall subject. A show about nothing can make it, but I'm not so sure about a blog about nothing. :P

I've already got one (see my sig) but I'd be happy to contribute.

I wouldn't mind contributing articles to keep my copy-writing skillz up ;)

I have a site that allows people to post news articles... unfortunately it has been hijacked by conspiracy theorists. I wouldn't mind if some more moderate people wanted to post things:

I got a blog with three articles going nowhere. I'd be more than happy to contribute, if someone'd provide me with something to write about.

will there be adsense revenue sharing, non no-follow backlinks for submitters, or is it "just for fun" blog?

I'd write in a blog too, what are your plans for it's subject, what's the domain name going to be?

By the way, I've already started a blog (I posted about it in another thread earlier). It has a couple articles and two authors total, and I'm looking for more authors who would like to contribute.
The theme of the blog is game development, but we will also be covering game-related technologies, graphic design, business and legal considerations, audio engineering, and all kinds of good stuff. The articles are of an instructional/informative nature.
If any of that floats your boat, let me know. ;) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm up for it. Let me have some sort of test for it.

OK, here's a link:

It's very much a work-in-progress, so feel free to make absolutely any suggestions you may have for any part of the layout or whatnot.

Layout is fine, but the theme and colours is just old. Try out some of the themes with your own background and whatnot. And the post could do with some images and videos for those who can't try out the game in the HTML5 post, for example.

Thanks! Good ideas. :) I'll try to come up with a subtle background image (something that won't overpower the content), and yeah - adding an image or two of the game would be nice. :)

PM me if I can do anything else for you. I gotta go now. And we're jacking the thread.

I think there's a place for blog entries that do nothing more than highlight particularly awesome ubuntuforums.org threads and posts.

Thanks guys for all the responses. I think I'm just gonna add my bro and a few friends. :-( sorry for everyone who had their hopes up. I'm planning on running it off my SmashIndex.com site. Sports, Tech and Health are our main topics. Besides being written by a bunch of people who went to the same HS together, + 1 dude I met online somehow, don't ask b/c I don't know. I think we have a great team. Thanks again for all your support.
Anyone have any suggestions for http://smashindex.wordpress.com
O and hijacking is no bother to me. I enjoy when people hijack my threads. It helps me relate to my topic in different ways. Which challenges the IQ. and is fun to learn what others relate my topic to in their daily lives. :-)

Sweet! That's very nice of you. :)
Anyway, I added screen shots to the article, "The Future Flash: HTML". I'm also working on a simple background that doesn't distract the user, but is still appealing. Ideas for such a background are welcome!

Just as long as the readers aren't just posting to be posting LOL. It has to relate to the topic in some way :-) Or I have to see how the topic being discussed relates to the topic I've asked about

Yeah, I hear ya. I like to have fun on forums, but there are some definite lines that are not to be crossed. Besides, it's only natural that forum topics go off topic. :D
