When I boot from Live CD, everything is fine, including wifi. However, after I install Ubuntu 10.10 Alternate CD, immediately after logging in, it says,
"Network service discovery disabled. Your current network has a .local domain, which is not recommended and incompatible with the Avahi network service discovery. The service has been disabled."
And I lost my wifi. Is it because I chose installing drivers only for this system during the installing?
