hi all, i'm new here (and on ubuntu) :D
i bought VPS and the OS is Ubuntu 10.04 32bit,
i have only root accesses and no GUI or something, so i installed :
"sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop"
now i need VNC but i cant install it :(
i get:
"E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable) E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it? "
i try to do this for the first thing on the machine starts, and still same error.. can you help me please?
