Hi guys I am using the Geany PHP editor and its working fine so far, only thing I'm finding difficult to do is getting up the explorer window so I can just create / delete / rename files and folders on my file system i really cant find a way to do it. There is a side bar kind of thing but it only lets you view the folder / file path and doesn't let you create / delete files / folders, is there a plugin or way to do this?

You could try this (http://plugins.geany.org/treebrowser.html), it works really fine!

Thanks for the quick reply! I've downloaded the plugin and extracted it to my desktop how would i go about installing it from there?

Thanks again!

If you want the latest version, you'll need to compile the plugin before using it: download the file http://plugins.geany.org/geany-plugins/geany-plugins-0.19.tar.bz2, this contains various geany plugins and the treebrowser plugin too.

I don't know if the latest Ubuntu now includes it, but you could try to install if you didn't do it already:

apt-get install geany-plugins
