Ubuntu constantly reverts

ok Im not sure what exactly is causing this, even with my settings the way they are set, since i do not require the puter to ask me for pass when i reboot and so on, but every once awhile, for some reason my puter reverts to the login screen for some reason.. i would like to know how to possibly find out, Im on 64Bit Ubuntu 10.10 on an Phenom II 945 3GHz and 4 Gig RAM, any other info needed please ask, and also just in case i dont know, let me know how to find that out as well.. :)
