Hello!
For a couple of months I have a problem with fonts on my Ubuntu desktop. It began with installing new free fonts on Ubuntu 9.04. Meanwhile I upgraded to 10.04, but the problem remains.
In Firefox the monospace(?) font is broken sometimes(!) and so is in Evince. I search and read a lot of forums, but only found old posts with similar problems (i.e. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=268085 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=606368).
Unfortunately I wasn't able to fix the problem on my own. Maybe you can help!?
To show you what I see on my desktop, I made a screenshot of the page http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.php . The screenshot is attached as a PNG file.
Any help is appreciated!
