Ubuntu in the wild sighting...

I was in Cape Town last week, and the hotel I stayed in had this little nook with two pc's setup for guests to use the internet. I walked past the one morning, and I realised I recognised the taskbar and logo... Sure enough, both running 8.04. Well done Best Western Cape Suites Hotel.

That's awesome! Some folks have caught frames of television shows where Ubuntu was on the screen in a particular scene. So cool!

Not very 'wild' but my department at school has a couple Ubuntu labs... one is pretty decent, the other is crazy awesome with new i7 machines and huge monitors. Of course it's a CS department so that isn't too surprising, but whatever. :D
