Hi there,

I just upgraded to 10.10, had a look at Netbook Edition, and while I like some aspects of it, still prefer the way I've set things up using the standard Gnome Desktop Edition. Thing is, I DO love the idea of putting the titlebar information into the top panel. I like that a lot. Is there any way of doing that in the Desktop edition?

you need to install Global Menu Bar for GNOME. try http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/

@rotave: i thought this gives you a glboal menubar, and not a global titlebar (like the op asks for)?

@a-user: I thought the op was just after the same effect as the global menu in the netbook edition. If so, then all he needs to do is install global menu bar.
