Nautlius drag'n'drop to cut&paste?

Is it possible to make nautilus move a document to another folder on drag'n'drop even when the destinate folder and the source folder aren't in the same partition?

Yes. Drag&drop using the middle mouse button, and Nautilus will ask if you want to copy, move or link the files. ;)
