I have a system running Ubuntu 10.04 with software Raid 1 drives (both /boot and root partitions are Raid 1). I need to move the drives within the same machine, i.e., plugging them into different disk controller locations. So when I do that, the drives will appear with different device file identities.
Can someone tell me how to do this to and preserve the setup that I currently have? Any advise would be much appreciated.
