Trying to install 10.10 over 9.10 using live CD - HD not detected

Hi all,

After successfully updating two computers to 10.10 using the live CD, I've hit a snag. I'm trying to update my old desktop which has a 200gig SATA drive on an nforce motherboard. The drive is not recognized in the install portion of the live CD although disk manager sees and mounts it. The 9.10 on the computer still runs fine.

How can I fix this?

Try unmounting the disk in the terminal before you install.

The drive is listed as unmounted in the disk utility.
