Ok guys. This one might stretch the minds of the mathematically minded.

So, in an exponential graph, y=a.2^(x-p) +1

Find a and p mathematically, and not by inspection. The line runs through the points (0; 5/2) and (1;4).

This is harder than you might think. You can use any method you want to.

The teachers at my school thought this problem up and aren't able to solve it. I've had a try, but no luck. I just wanna see where your minds go with this one.
