installation issue

I'm in the process of installing ubuntu on my HD. While installing, i entered the information like keyboards, location, and credentials i ran into rut. On the page when i input my password an stuff, the forward button does not highlight and cannot move on. Why is this and how do i fix it?

nevermind, i believe it's still installing.

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

On the page where you enter your name, user name, password etc., the user name must start with a lowercase letter.

For example,

Name: John Smith
User name: john not John
