Hello,

I have question to the following:

I have shoot video which when i open my sdcard i saw .cpi and .mts.

1) what is .mts and .cpi.
2) what is the difference of the two?
3) which is better to get?

I need guide here as I am new to video and AVCHD format. :KS

The .mts file is a container for AVCHD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD) video. The .cpi file contains metadata about the mts file, such as aspect ratio, frame rate, etc.

so the mts is the file. the cpi is the information about the file mts? correct me if im wrong.
