Hi there. I want to conduct alternate CD installation with my netbook. It's going to be a dual-booting with windows XP. My version of choice is ubuntu-10.10-alternate-i386.iso. I want to implement LUKS full system partition encryption during my installation.

Can anybody kindly provide some guide or step-by-step tutorials link? Very much appreciated. Thanks.

(By the way, I do have an external DVDRW-rom)

Good luck with it, it's a fine idea.
A couple of things that might help:
The ultimate reference is probably the Debian installer manual (http://www.us.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/index.html.en), particularly sections 6.3.2.5 and 7.2. A previously successful venture into this territory wrote some notes (http://learninginlinux.wordpress.com/2008/04/23/installing-ubuntu-804-with-full-disk-encryption/) which are probably still pretty accurate. You might not want to use the older ubuntu desktop directions (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EncryptedFilesystemLVMOnFeistyAndDapper), but they might help you understand how the pieces fit together.
