When I get netbeans from the repositories and choose to create a new project, I do not see JavaFX, Groovy, C++, etc. How do I add JavaFX support for instance? I did apt-cache search netbeans and haven't found anything useful (unless I missed it).

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I think your easiest option would be to download it from the NetBeans website (http://netbeans.org/downloads/index.html).

This is how I always install it on my systems, it also means you can upgrade to the latest version without having to wait for the repo's to update :)
