I never tried to install IE on Ubuntu, but there are a few methods posted in the forums (http://www.google.com/search?q=Install+IE+site%3Aubuntuforums.org&hl=en). However, in my personal opinion, is time for you to let go of it. IE is the worst browser and it probably won't work as you expect.

If you don't like Firefox, which is way much better in my opinion, you should try other browsers like Opera (http://www.opera.com/browser/) or Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome). There are many other browser options, but Firefox, Opera and Chrome are the most popular and they are all better than IE.

What kind of problems? I have Firefox, Opera and Chrome installed and they all work fine.

Please describe how you are installing and what are the problems so we can help fix them.
