windows on ubuntu

currently i have a dual boot setup on my machine where i can start windows xp or i can start ubuntu. is there a way that i can set it up so that i can start windows from inside ubuntu, instead of having to shut down ubuntu and restart in windows. on a mac it think it is called parallels. any help/advice/or points in the right direction would be helpful.

Look into VirtualBox. It's a bit of bear to set up but it'll give you exactly what you're looking for unless you're hoping to run high graphics games.

got it up and running, any help on usb devices? is there a way to access a printer from my virtual machine?
