I am wondering, after installing Ubuntu on a new drive, if I installed a drive I used prior to the new one (which still had Linux installed), would this cause problems in booting or otherwise? I was thinking of doing that so I could copy over my data.
I am considering using a Hitachi Deskstar 5K1000 500GB hard drive. has anyone had nay bad problems with it?
