Sometimes the only way to get something done is by fax. this can especially be true when dealing with Gov't entities or some companies. They just will simply will NOT accept e-mail. So my question is how do I send a document to a fax machine? For my setup, I'm running on cable internet, and I don't have a scanner/printer or even a version of either. I seen something about efax-gtk, but I don't know of this will work. The description it mentions a fax-modem, and as I stated, I'm on cable broadband internet.
Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

AFAIK......this cannot be done without a fax modem. Do a "fax" search in Synaptic and it will bring up several applications for using a fax modem to send faxes.

Thanks for the link Jason.
Like I said, a few places ask for faxes, but they are being phased out, so it's not something I'm overly concerned about it. Thanks for your responses!
