I am running Xubuntu 9.10 at present. When I download updates, the message
New Ubuntu release '10.04.1 LTS' is availableappears in the upper part of the Update Manager window. My question is what will happen if I click on the "Upgrade" button. Will I end up with an upgraded Xubuntu version or will my installation revert to the standard Ubuntu variety with a GNOME/KDE desktop?
