Can adding Kubuntu repos/KDE cause software conflicts in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS?
Thanks.

There is no separate "Kubuntu repo" and you can install as many desktop environments as you like, switching between them from the login screen. :)

Well sometimes it does. But it should work fine if you install the desktop repo, i use ubuntu for quite some years now and i have only had problems once, with using both KDE and Gnome. It was a KDE planetarium app. So mainly it should be OK to use them both.

Adding this would be fine??
sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop
Thanks.

Yezinki,
That should be fine, but you'll probably want more than that to get the full kde desktop packages. I might suggest the following:
kubuntu-desktop
kdebase
kubuntu-docs
kubuntu-notification-helper
I don't know if I'm forgetting any...
