linux-headers-2.6.32-26-generic (2.6.32-26.46)
linux-image-2.6.32-26-generic (2.6.32-26.46)

After reboot both gnome-panel and metacity failed to start at logon. I added them both to startup programs but, it wasn't like that before... I can also say, that I'm not using that kernel. I use different one. How can I restore it back?

I've tried metacity --replace &, compiz as well, at next logon I have the same situation, no wm. Saving running programs is not helping as well.
