Well, OSX is my favorite out of all of them.
GNOME is my favorite on Linux though. :)

I like gnome because it allows for some cool visuals while not using too much ram. Here's a picture of my desktop. (If anyone is wondering why I'm running terminal in root, I'm compiling the new 2.6.16.7 kernel)

Gnome is my thing, followed by Xfce, E17, fluxbox, first Macintosh GUIs and then Win 3.0 to 3.11 [and this because of my 386 nostalgia. [8mb ram!!!]. I don't like too much eyecandy.

Has to be the new Xfce - the interface does almost everything compiz can do, and is very cool.

the bean-count is how many posts you have..
as far as dapper vs. vista, i'm inclined to go with the one that isn't published by a convicted monopoly. ;)
as far as this being a joke friendly thread... well, i heard that a badger and a hedgehog walked into a bar; sensing the disruption, the dapper drake ducked. :-k

ok so you might have to think about it for a second/minute/hour or two... but at least it won't be funny when you figure it out :p
ahh and i forgot to add: you forgot about XFCE and openbox3. Those two have to be my favorite guis. i've got screenshots to share, but the wallpaper is a little "grownup." Tasteful, not pornographic, but i suppose it's not for the kiddies and probably isn't for the public forum. you can see a couple of the wallpapers on my site (in the signature) which looks like hell on macs/pcs but looks decent on my ubuntu box in firefox. the wallpapers themselves, however, look great in any OS/wm/etc.. ;)
