windows won't begin after ubuntu installation

having windows xp I dual booted ubuntu 10.04.Grub shows thw windows partion as well as ubuntu.

When choosing to boot windows it starts loading and then the pc restarts.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

Please boot the computer with a LiveCD and choose to try Ubuntu in live mode.

Then, follow the instructions in the link at the bottom of my post.

Post the results back here and we will see what can be done to help you.
