MP3 problem & links

I have 2 question
1.
When I wan't to play an mp3 file with rythimbox I get Error something like this:
no mp3 plugins are installed
Where can I find this mp3 plugin?

2.Tell me some links where can i find programs for Ubuntu!

Hi dado! first of all, to enable mp3 in your ubuntu system, you might want to read this:
starter guide (http://ubuntuguide.org/)

Also, all of the ubuntu applications are right at your fingertips (if you have an internet connection)
Computer -> System Configuration -> Synaptic Package Manager

Now, if you look through the starter guide, you'll be able to "add extra repositories" to get even more applications. :)
