My dads computer has stoped responding to mouse clicks.

It's not a hardware issue as i am not able to click any thing either when logged in via VNC.

If i on the other hand run his application threw a ssh tunnel, i can click on the programs just fine.

It seams this issue happens shortly after loggin in as he is able to use th mouse for a minut or so befor the issue kicks in.

Switching betwean metacity and compiz dosn't seam to help either.

Navigating the computer using the keyboard works fine, but thers no way i can teach my dad to use that :)

Hope some one has some idears.

Hi!

I'm seeing a similar issue here. Can you click nothing at all or just not at some elements? I can (sometimes) click on the gnome panel icons, but not in any window. Here the issue comes sometimes after 20minutes, sometimes after some hours. I'm using a macbook pro 5.5.
