Installing packages locally

Hi.. I have installed Ubuntu 10.04. I have ultimate edition that has almost all packages. Now, i would like to install selected packages from ultimate edition. I need a to know how to install the selected packages by resolving the dependencies locally.

Are you saying that you want to install packages without having internet?
