Hi guys,
I' ve a problem with the installation of ubuntu 10.10 netbook edition.
The pc frezzes at the third pass of this page(http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download), in the section install it!.
I don't know how to resolve the problem, can you help me...??

Can you post the type and specification of your machine.

Acer aspire d260
intel atom processor n450(1.66 GHz)
1 Gb ram
HDD 250

Think this machine should work. It may be the CD has not burned correctly, try burning again at the slowest rate.

I think too...!!in fact I don't understand why I've this problem...
however I've done the boot from usb, the problem can not be the burning of cd... :'( can it be in download?

It can be in download and in Flashdrive, I would do the whole process again, also if you are able try the Flashdrive on a different machine and see if you get a similar error.

I've tried to start the program on another one pc, and it runs...
then I think it's a system problem...but how can I adjust it..?

One option would be to download the Alternate iso. This is exactly the same except it has a simpler boot interface. So if you are having problems with a graphics card this can give you a chance to see/resolve the issue.

it doesn't work anyway... :( bah...I don't know what do...
