I upgraded to 10.10. Went to start Firefox, and got an error, along with a sumbit error form. It just said Firefox crashed and this:
"Add-ons: langpack-en-GB@firefox-3.6.ubuntu.com:3.6,ubufox@ubuntu.com:0.9rc2,{6F097 6E6-26F3-4AFE-BBEC-9E99E27E4DF3}:1.4.9,moonlight@novell.com:2.3,langp ack-en-CA@firefox-3.6.ubuntu.com:3.6,langpack-en-AU@firefox-3.6.ubuntu.com:3.6,langpack-en@firefox-3.6.ubuntu.com:3.6,{972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd}:3.6.13pre

Not knowing what the problem is, I deleted FF re-booted, and tried to install 4.0 All it said was installation failed. I tried from the terminal, and all it said was "attempting to load system libmoon", then the same crash error. I re-attempted to load Firefox from the software, and got another error.

Help please??

It is a known issue with libmoon. Just uninstall it and you should be fine. It is required for Moonlight (Silverlight plugin), so this will be removed as well.

sudo apt-get purge libmoon

To reinstall Firefox:

sudo apt-get install firefox
