I just installed the 64 bit version of XUbuntu 10.10 and have sound working once I log in, but not at the login screen. Synaptic shows that gdm is installed but there is no gdm.conf and the gui login configuration app doesn't show much info-it has no option for a login sound.
What am I missing on my pc?
