I upgraded from Ubuntu Desktop 10.04 to Ubuntu Studio 10.04 and running a dual boot system with Windows. On the grub screen there are four listings now for Ubuntu. Two recover modes and two ubuntu modes. Is this normal? Going to reboot and see if I can get a picture of it.

I noticed the second set ends in -rt. Would this have to do with the Real-Time kernel that is for audio/video work? I'm brand new to the whole Ubuntu Studio deal.

Yes its normal. those are different kernels you can chose. The rt kernels are as you guessed, real time kernels which are useful for low latency audio recording (and audio recording only), but there are issues with proprietary video drivers and rt kernels afaik.

BTW, you can clean monitors with slightly wet microfiber cloth ;)
