View Full Version : [ubuntu] Running Hamachi in VirtualBox?

Hello all,

I'm wondering if it would be technically possible to run a Hamachi client in a Windows virtualbox and be able to set it up (using network bridging, maybe?) like Hamachi was running in the host itself.

I'm most definitely not a networking expert, but I thought it would be worth a try to see if anyone had any ideas. Hamachi for linux is outdated and unstable. Being able to run the Windows version would help me greatly in transitioning my servers to Ubuntu.

Also, if this isn't possible and anyone has another cross-platform zero-config VPN solution as stable as Hamachi, please suggest it.

Thanks in advance.

I'm really interested in the solution to this question too, if there is one...
