View Full Version : [ubuntu] autohidden panel doesn't showup on mouse hover

I've had this problem since yesterday, or maybe the day before. It's not unusual for me to have different problems with the top panel (autohide activated), like it doesn't show up after a fresh boot but after I do Alt F1 it starts behaving normally.

But now, the panel really doesn't show up at all when I hover the cursor to the top. If I move it to the top-right corner it shows up, though, but not anywhere in the middle. Top-left corner is being used for Expo. This only happens with Compiz, if I use metacity the panel behaves normally.

I don't think changed any settings in compiz that might associate moving the cursor to the top with a compiz action. When I assign "Top" with something (like activate Expo) it doesn't tell me there is a conflict, so it seems like it's not assigned to anything.

Any idea where to look / what to try?
