Install problem!

Hello, I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my laptops hard disk, but when I get to about 75% completion (after i enter in my computer name and password) it says "Ready when you are"; however, the "forward" command is NOT highlighted and I cannot continue. Does anyone have a solution?

Welcome to UF.
The usual cause of this problem is that capital letter(s) have been used in the username field. Try again without capitals.

You're a genius! as you can probably tell i'm new to Linux, I just learned the other day that Ubuntu is a form of it :-P thank you so much!

It is a known problem. It would be better if some kind of error message was generated.
