Confusing title, I know.
Anywho, I was wondering if there's a way to bypass that part that happens when you type `startx` in just about any distro and you get a cursor that's a plain ol "X" with a background that looks kinda grey and white.

I've seen plenty distros (including ubuntu) where it bypasses that screen you usually see just before X goes to the desktop environment.

Just wondering how to do that manually.
It's because I have backtrack 4 (based on Kubuntu/Intrepid) and just for aesthetic value I wanna skip that part (I have a really nice bootsplash + ksplash screen, the screen I'm talking about doesn't fit in).

If not then whatever, it's just aesthetics for shits n giggles.
