I did a clean install of Ubuntu 10.10 & have had no problems until now. When the update manager opens the following happens.

It starts check for updates then a window opens saying

Updating cache

Downloading 0b to 1B

Then another window opens saying.

CD/DVD 'Ubuntu 10.04_Lucid Lynx_-Beta i386 (20100406.1) is required.
Please insert the above CD/DVD into drive to install software packages from it.

I put in my DVD of 10.04 and the updates are downloaded and installed then all is back to normal.

I am having to do this each time I get any updates, do not understand why as I had not done to change my computer prior to this happening any body got any ideas why this has happen and how to cure it?

Hope someone can help me sort this out?

Sounds like the software source "Ubuntu CD" has been selected as a source to check when updating. Know what I mean?
