libasound jack.la

I need this file
libasound_module_pcm_jack.la

I have
libasound_module_pcm_jack.so

but I can't find the .la anywhere. i've found these packages that you have to make and whatnot, but I always get errors when I do.
Is there anywhere I can just get the .la file? that would be so much easier.
