Hi and thanks for reading,
I am going to a country with government managed firewalls. How can I connect to my home computer's (Ubuntu 10.04) internet connection from a computer behind these firewalls?
Thanks for any ideas,

If you're not doing anything illegal you could use an SSH tunnel.
Information on that can be found HERE (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SSH/OpenSSH/PortForwarding).
If you need more general information on openssh you can find that HERE (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SSH?action=show&redirect=SSH%2FOpenSSH).
If they block access to your server's IP altogether then SSH would be useless.

I expect looking at news sites that are banned could be considered illegal. Why would the ssh tunnel not be okay for that?
