init Not Tainted 2.6.35-22- generic #33-Ubuntu

I have been more interested to use Ubuntu and I want to use it through Virtual Box. So this is my First Try.

I have downloaded ubuntu-10.10-desktop-i386.iso and trying to use this using Virtualbox. When I start it got the below error:

Kernel Panic - Not Synching : Attempted to Kill init!
Pid : 1, Comm : init Not Tainted 2.6.35-22- generic #33-Ubuntu

I have followed the steps provided here :

Please let me know if I'm making any mistakes.

Issue is resolved. When I was downloading iso image in between my laptop got restarted and my download manager continued from the place where its stopped. Looks like in this restart some file got corrupted.

Downloaded again and now it worked properly.
