Hi,
I'm a happy MacBook1,1 user, and I've been using Ubuntu Karmic Coala (I think) for a while with rEFIt.
It worked like it should.

Then Snow Leopard came.

But it continued to work.

And then...

It suddenly stopped working (correctly)!

Every time I start Ubtuntu, GRUB loads as normal.. And then this:

I get this unreadable error multiplied by 5.
I tried to weld them together with this result:

After the error, I get the loginscreen, multiplied by five :(

Do you know what that error means? How I can fix it? If it is fixable?

Thanks for reading ;)

Very strange indeed. I have Lucid Lynx working very well on a MacBook 2,1. Maybe you should copy your home folder to a stick from a livCD and install Lucid Lynx over Karmic Koala. Don't install any bootloaders, it will just work fine. If you have troubles with Grub later, contact me. I know how to get a working GRUB now.
