I am currently running ubuntu notebook edition on my Acer Travelmate 7530. I love the "ipad" like feel of the environment but i am experiencing problems with the driver. The out of the box driver works, but there are always pixelation and white squares scattered on the dock. I installed the AMD/ATI proprietary drivers and this problem stopped, but when i open a program that modifies any administrative settings, or the terminal, the program is split in half and sideways. I appologize for my mispelling as i am at work, and my browser doesnt check my spelling. I will upload pictures of whats happening when i get home, anyone else have this problem?
