Run Dialog not working!

Hello everyone,

Whenever i try to get the run dialog up by pressing alt+f2 it refuses to work for me...
I tried the following:

-associate alt+f2 with other functions to test the buttons: success
-i tried resetting, no success...
-reinstalling UNE 10.10, no success...

can anyone hint me, or point directions? I think it has to do with Mutter, but I could be wrong...

Or maybe its my eee pc 900?
