Having just bought a new Toshiba laptop, I wanted to install Ubuntu to dual boot Windows 7,
I downloadesd and burnt the iso and then tried to install it.
Everything seemed fine and was prompted to reboot to complete installation, then the problem started.
When rebooting, some syntax flashes by and then it hangs on this line;
[ 0.597474] [<c0104087>] kernal_thread_helper+0x7/0x10
Please can anyone help? I've tried downloading 10.04 and 10.10 in both 32bit and 64bit always with the same outcome.
Thanks!
