When ever i try to change Visual Effects in Appearance Preferences from None to Normal or Extra, i get this error "Desktop Effects could not be enabled".I think i had messed up with my Nvidia Drivers. Please help me to remove all my present drivers & reinstall to get clean configuration along with all my desktop effects.

Thank you in advance.

Did you run compiz? Maybe you should type in a terminal the command "compiz&".
