On Ubuntu, Alt key + mouseScroll click is resizing the current window. Can i get that on Xubuntu somehow (or should i say on XFCE)?

the standard shortcut is alt-f8, you can modify that in the window-manager settings > keyboard.
afaik you can't set a combination of keyboard and mouse for a shortcut there...

Great! I set it to just the windows key on my keyboard and now I can resize windows by pressing the windows key, then resize the window and left-click when done.
