Hello guys,
In the installation process of ubuntu i have set my account type to (/) instead of root can i change it now , if possible send me some tutorials how to do that or any other suggiestions please

My understanding is that (/) is root.

did u mean username as / or the ext4 filesystem to /

I'm finding myself asking the same question: "root" can mean different things in different contexts: I think the OP is referring to the file system.
By default the "root" user is disabled in Ubuntu.
